[Q] about htc sensation xl root

i have htc sensation xl and when i try to boot in to recovery thats what i get

E:can't open/cache/recovery/command
E;faild to mount/sdcard no such a file

thats my htc info

android version
2.3.5

software number
1.05.401.4
