first: Thanks for your work, I really appreciate it! But somehow I have a problem with Part A:

I have stock ICS 4.0.3 with Firmware 562 and installed your zips via CWM in the right order (I chose first A, second B and third systemUI). The thing is: 30 steps of volume doesn't work. Everything else works perfectly, but when I change volume with the hw buttons it's still the same misery.

What am I doing wrong?

/Strangely it seems to work when I play games in landscape mode. Tried it again on homescreen, didn't work. But I guess it's supposed to change ringtone volume as well, no?

30 steps volume is only for media playing, not phone volume

Added No HW mod thanks to tkymgr! It really smooths out the UI well, Chrome bugs may exists but personally never use it so no problem Already tried Live Wallpaper and indeed it's faster now like in GB, because the load is balanced between CPU and GPU now

could you make the No HW mod for deodexed roms as well?
