Krarvind, my phone doesn't seem to use the battery at all when sleeping. I think my phone is now a battery that acts like a phone lol.

Yeah the base is all the common files and then the essentials are the unique device specific files. Flash both and enjoy!

Default Music vol. changes after notification

Does anyone else find that when listening to music (Play Music) and a notification tone happens (eg. new email), when the music resumes, it's at a lower volume than before??
I can fix it with the rocker switch but it gets kind of annoying after awhile...

Some tests results :

With PowerAmp :
So I hear music with headphone plugged.
I got a notification and :
- Notification sound is played from the phone speaker , not on the headphone..
- The music continues playing (never stop during notification sound) but.. on the phone speaker now, not on the headphone

With stock player:
So I hear music with headphone plugged.
I got a notification and :
- Notification sound is played from the phone speaker , not on the headphone..
- The music stop playing during notification sound.. and then the music come back at a (very) lower volume
- Pressing the Volume Up hardware button doesn't increase volume from the low volume but from the "old" (before notification sound) volume level.

I hope that I my explanation are clear.

This is a standard bug across all AOSP/KP/CM9 ROM's. It's known but it's not a simple thing so will take some time before it's fixed.

Very strange

(I haven't noticed any volume change)
I've never had this happen only the volume reduce which is to be expected.

EDIT: I must've pressed quote before your edit lol but still never happened ever to me.

Do the same thing but after flashing base you may need to flash base again as first time it goes too quick and doesn't work so a second flash takes longer and works.

You are being too nice. There is a triple star in installation instructions for a reason. You would think a person with such high thanks meter would read well and notice that.
