[Q] Recovery HELP.....Please

So I've been silly.....

Heres what im/was using
Galaxy SII
Lite'ning Rom v6.1 XXKH3
Android version 2.3.4
ClockworkMod 4.0.0.2

So what I did like a smartarse was install cm9 direct from the SD. I previously formatted the SD card on the phone so it has the folder layouts and these's files in the root and thats it:

update-cm-9-20120305-NIGHTLY-galaxys2-signed.zip
cm_galaxys2_full-116.zip
cm72-111120.2013-Milestone2-ICS-v1.0.zip

The phone trys to load CM9. It gets stuck at the loading logo and doesnt pass it (the coloured, spinning panels)

I can reboot the phone into recovery mode and its now running CWM-based recovery v5.0.2.7

I've tried to install the other .zips but get the same problem, no OS (CM7 fails at the Galaxy SII logo).

I know I've been stupid but could I get a hand? I've not used android since I had a HTC Magic
