Hi,got one from Indonesia (okeshop/trikomsel)

got:
- black device
- charger + data cable/charging cable (standard ep800 not the quick charge ep850)
- 1 screenprotector installed on the device
- in-ear headset
- mumbo jumbo manual papers

and thats it! no hdmi cable, no smart tags, no extra screen protector, no quickcharger...paid good ~US$600 on it..cheapskate sony mobile ID

and to top that, some people in local forums said that it took 2-4weeks to replace/repair yellow tint problem (luckily i got none atm,but i'm frightened to claim warranty when there's problem)..no wonder sony (ericsson) has a very bad rep here..

thats it,registered on xda dev just to post this rant (mostly lurking)..lol

No nfc smarttag in the box?????? Its...... ahh, i hate the manufacturers. All of it... when i buy "the best" at presence... like moto xoom, razr... there is a charger (and in razrs box: rokr headset) and nothing else... in my **** countri thees devices price are the double of a normal mans salary... and now i want an xperia s... its not "premium category", like razr, but very powerful.
Any idea how/where can i get nfc smart tags for low price? No needed "sony"... i want low price but working noname.

Sony said that SmartTags never were a part of Xperia S accessories. This is seperate product, you don't need them for phone to operate/work. HDMI cable, screen protector, SmartTags,etc. it's all accessories, so it is all down to those who sell the phone if they are included or not (i.e. as part of a deal/offer). Probably same with other manufacturers.

So we're pretty lucky that they don't consider the charger an "accessory" then...

If they advertise the phone with SmartTags then they can well bother to put one or two in the box (seeing as there are only 4 types, wtf?), IMO.

They advertised Xperia S with SmartTags, because it is the first phone of theirs with NFC support, so of course the advertised it. But, like I said, it is still accessory.

I somehow think pretty soon they won't include the standard charger, seeing how USB cable has gradually become the standard and there's always one lying around in your house. Then they will start selling the standard charger for $30.

i had the same package like yours..i asked about the smart tags to sony official service center and they said that every phone released here (indonesia) has no smart tag bundle what so ever,,,

now that u mentioned it..i had a samsung mp3 player (yp-m1)..it only came with data cable and i'm supposed to charge with my pc all the time...i guess i can see how phones will not get charger bundled at the future..lol

So I think thats a full box ?

Just joking, most countries will just get the standard package, with some offerring those extra pieces, with all phones, all brands you purchase, in the manual it does stated accessories and contents very from countries.
