and, we're working on another method now, since samsung uses .rfs, and these are hard to recompile on windows.

Then maybe I did something wrong twice.

I turned off screen on/off animations and windows animations and it seems to work ok now. Will leave it like this for a few hours - and then turn all animations on and see what happens.

Still... weird.

EDIT: Used this ROM for a few hours with the "screen on/off animation" setting OFF and ROM worked fine. As soon as I turn "screen on/off animation" ON the problem returns.
I'll install this rom for the beginning and see if this problem persists.
I came from CM9 beta before flashing this ROM. Are there any special requirements needed prior to installing this ROM?

damn. bricked my phone again, can get into download mode, but stuck at download in odin, let's hope I can fix it..

no I couldn't, but I managed to fix that, now can't restore backups.

Hmm, maybe it is because the stock rom is in rfs and custom most of all in ext4?
