Good point Karma - check that and make sure your IMEI is correct.

None of that worked. I'm just gonna stay on stock Gingerbread for a bit. I don't use my phone too much anymore anyway.

Camera app too sensitive
Hello,

The camera app seems to be too much sensitive, many a times when I switch to the recording mode it starts recording automatically without the record button being pressed and when on still camera the pics are taken automatically.

Any one has the same issue or am I missing some settings?

Regards
BS

Hey guys. I decided to try upgrading to SlimBean 4.3 again and managed to get it working perfectly. I have no clue how I managed to forget how to flash a custom rom from Gingerbread but thanks for the help! Greatly appreciate it!

Well... It appears my T959D is finally dead. Ran it through the wash today while I was half asleep. Its sitting in a bowl of rice right now but I'm not hopeful that it will turn back on.

Anyway, it's been a fun trip and I'll still help out where I can. The file repo will stay up for the foreseeable future as well.

Edit: A few things... I'm using an LG Optimus 3D right now as a 'loaner phone' from a friend. It's amazing how **** Gingerbread is after spending so much time with ICS/JB. The LG skin on GB isn't helping it much. Anyway, got a Galaxy Nexus on the way to hold me over until contract renewal time in August. Hopefully that arrives this week.

The other thing... I have a bunch of T959D/i9000 accessories that are useless to me now. I have an Otterbox Commuter, a knock off Otterbox Defender, i9000 Xpal Powerskin, Stock 1500mAh and 1650mAh batteries (and a second 1650mAh battery that went through the wash, could still work...), and a stand alone battery charger. Free (or feel free to 'buy me a beer') to anyone who wants them, just pay shipping via EMT or paypal (preferably EMT).

Hey Karma - I can take the battery and the charger if no one else spoke for it - I still have two of these phones.

I think the galaxy nexus will MORE than hold you over - very open phone, and still very speedy even on stock (and tons of support for it).

I'm running Carbon now on my phone with Semaphore - just did it today - so far, so good. Really wanted to give Halo a whirl - and this ROM packages that up.
