my news is about a2sd issue. as you know that up to now, a2sd was working but causing low sound issues in the rom. a2sd is an indispensable item in the rom especially for eu users. if you do not have a2sd, it means that you will only have room for few personal apk's. But, for everyday we use almost hundreds personal application. same time, we need high level of sound for phone ring in a loud space or for listening music from speakers. Anyway, it is solved with smokin's new version. i did not give up trying all types of a2sd on every version created, but, i was not succesfull till this moment.

it is working now without sound bug, but, not with the roms original a2sd.
i will tell you what i did in a few sentences in below. please read it and do it carefully. other methods causes problems on the rom such as no lock and central hard key malfunctioning. doing on an already set on rom will reset the your settings and will cause malfunctioning. do it with your own risk. if you do not want to loose your data, do not attempt to do it. i am not responsible of any mistakes or problems or etc.

- wipe everything (really wipe everything, i suggest do task29+magldr install+recovery 5/220/10 as i mentioned my ex replies)
- install the rom with a2sd (do now reboot. turn to cwm)
- install the zip file attached by cwm
- reboot the phone
- wait 2-3 min
- do a quick setup and check phone information (about)
- do not touch original a2sd (if you check you will see dalvik is on internal mem, but, do not change it. leave it like that)
- you will see your ex3 as phone memory. voila.

ps. you should create at least 1024 mb (1 gb) ex3 partition on sd before doing that...

now i have working ext3 and as i tested rom is very stable with that.

thanks to amarullz for creating the script file. thanks to smoking for this great rom...
hi there
did as you have told however the phone still showing 227mb as internal storage rather than 1g ext?

Hi, it is my understanding low sound bug is only present when moving dalvik cache to sd-ext. I'm having no issues with stock a2sd, apps on sd-ext and dalvik cache on internal memory.

Can you confirm that a) this method works with dalvik-cache on sd-ext and b) what type of a2sd is in the attachment (data2sd/a2sd etc)?

But with org a2sd if you do not move dalvik you do not have extra space. You still can move apps to SD but men stays there and you fill your mem with apps data's. This is a script from amarullz which does not move dalvik if I am right but creates extra mem from your ext to the phone. Now I have phone mem like 1 gb.

Our chief is totally right. With ex. Rom Versions if you install this zip, script was causing sudden re-boots. But now it is perfect. This does not move dalvik so there is no sound bug...
