Maybe not everyone has this problem but after some feedback about, it semmes to be very very common...
I think someone really should contact with Sony Mobile to figure out if this is because of the glue, or something more serious. Could worth a try.

By now, almost everyone (except one friend, but maybe he can't see I don't know) has noticed that.

I don't think can be a single faulty unit if everyone or almost everyone got that, don't you think?

I had the same issue (yellowish left part of the display) with my galaxy S2, and a FW update solve the problem. I don't know if it's the same thing.

I don't use social networks, is there a way to report this via Twitter or FB to Sony?

It could be good, several fw update for Xperia S are on the way, this is the moment to report this kind of things.

I'm waiting for a feedback from another forum-friend, I'll let you know.

He just answered me, he can see that yellow shade too.

Begin to think the difference is not who has it, and who has not, but who notices it and who doesn't (6 on 7 guys I asked by now). imho, of course.

I've took a try with Sony Mobile's chat service (UK) about the yellow shade.
A total waste of time. They could tell nothing.....

You lot are so fussy!

Ive not noticed any issues with my screen.. but i had a close look anyway.

I put the screen on full brightness and had a full white screen, then i could just make out the bottom left of the screen going a little yellow.

But I had to go LOOKING for it to notice it!

Stop looking at your phone so closely, going over it LOOKING for faults.

Could a firmware update really resolve this issue? If it wasn't for the problem with the display, my first few days with owning this new phone would have been so much more pleasurable. Instead everytime I look at my display I am reminded of this.

When you pay £400 for a phone the very least you expect is the display to be nigh on perfect, and especially as the selling point for this device apart from it's camera is the display after all.

You said it. Nigh on perfect.. aka almost or near perfect.

Again, its only noticeable if you actually go looking for the damn "issue"
