Stop looking at your phone so closely, going over it LOOKING for faults.
Ha ha Sean you're so damn right, we could use our phones without searching for troubles.

But honestly, no one told me anything about "yellow something" in Xperia S, but anyway I've discovered it after only 4-5 hours of use, without looking for it, that's for sure.

And yes, I have to admit it's a little annoying to me, it's always there when I surf the web.

Now, going back to the "problem", being something a lot of Xperia S have (let me say: the most part) can anyone suggest the easiest way to send a report to Sony?

The exact same thing (a lot more visible) has been corrected in GS2 with GB 2.3.6 so maybe it's useful to speak now that some fresh firmware is going to arrive.

Thank you.

Probably: sonymobile dot com -> Contact us -> I'd recommend email or phone, I had no luck with the chat, but you can take a try too...

I think the more of us who contact Sony the more likelihood that Sony will sit up and take notice.
Proud owner of the htc One in black.

For some it's barely noticeable for some it's an obvious yellow spot.
I can cleary see it on White, Grey, Blue and some more.
Besides that I also have a pretty obvious green dead (sub)pixel

So yeah I wasn't looking for faults, I noticed it the first hour that i got that phone.

Added 2 pics made with my crappy HTC Hero
See how obvious it is on a dark grey background

WOW that's a real fault you're right...

The issue that me and other guys were talking about is completely different and less visible.

The issue we were talking about is a light light yellow shade in the bottom 2-3 centimetres of the display.

Barely visible, only with white/light colours flat backgrounds.

Again I feel sorry for you guys I really do but there are displays which are just perfect... No yellow spot even a tiny one

So I would go for a replacement if I had one of those...

Haha yeah, I wish mine was barely visible.
The Yellowish shade that you guys are talking about will probably fade over time.
The problem that I have won't :P

Thats not a dead pixel or even the yellow ish tint ppl are on about. that there is an actuall screen defect and should be replaced by Sony.
SE X10 > HTC Desire HD > HTC Wildfire S > SE Arc > SE Xperia Mini Pro > Sony Xperia S > Sony Xperia T > Sony Xperia Z

At first i thought it was a yellow spot (at the time i made this topic)
Because I first noticed it on a white screen, then it's yellowish.
(my dead pixel is on the right side a little above the middle of the screen)
But you cant see that on the picture

It sounds a thing to worry about. But I think it should disappear over time. Going to buy mine on late April...
