Hey guys,
My yellow tint might just be a cover left over
effect( The image display that company put in
phone to show the home screen on a switched
off device) or whatever you call it.. or worse
SCREEN BURN effect!!
I just noticed white rectangular box having
yellow borders at the bottom of the screen..
There are 4 such boxes with yellow borders at
the bottom..
I noticed it while I switched to go launcher n
tried to add Widgets..Its clearly visible on the
widget menu..
Four boxes means the launcher icons at the
bottom so it fits my assumption..
My screen have slight yellow tint at the
bottom .. not completely yellow , just dirty
colour at the bottom..
So guys with slight yellow tint at the bottom,
just check it out..
If its the image cover leftover than it might wear
off overtime n no yellow effect..
To find it out-
1. Download Go Launcher
2. Go to add widget option
3.Widget select menu pops up
4. Check out at the bottom area.

Report back
English is bad I guess ..Sorry for that.. Not my mother tongue..

Just checked the repair status and it says - awaiting component.

Customer fault : display - partially no function (defective segment/line/contrast)

SBE fault : display main - missing pixels / icons

Guess they're waiting for components to turn my phone into a hexa-core monster.

Don't think it will be replaced, but I don't mind since it's got an unlockable bootloader.

Any chance calling them up tomorrow will expedite the process/make them replace the phone instead of repairing it ?

WTF I'd ring them and tell them you want it or a replacement, they have to offer one if not repaired within a reasonable time

Guys I guess we need to start a buzz over social media or tech blogs about that issues, its been more than a month since I got my phone, and I didn't use it for more than 3 days ..
2 weeks per each device in the service center and now I'm waiting for my third device hoping it doesn't have that problem ..

Isn't it very annoying to pay that much money for a device without being able to use it ?

Can i be sure now that i won't get a yellow tint later?..
maybe i should try 50°C with a microwave just to be sure

How did i reached 45°C:

set display brightness at 100%
connect the power adapter (charging heat)
Download a game wich needs alot of power. I used "Burn the Rope" LOL this free small and simple game worked better than a third person shooter "Shadowguns"
Let the game "Burn the Rope" stand on the main animated screen for some time (till temperature reaches 40-45 it won't go higher??) You can switch to the home screen of your phone now and then to check the temperature with the app/widget Temp+CPU and go back to the game if needed.

I also had a TPU case.. that might also help

Phone information:
AAAB CB5
12W12
Touch firmware version: 6
Color: Black
Purchased in the Netherlands
Not branded
Not sim locked
Store (online): Typhone
play Defense zone HD for 15 min, u will reach temp 47, check temp using Battery Disk APK, then use Dead Pixel APK to check screen colors

Damn Got the yellow tint too after nearly 3 weeks of purchase, My phone had gone through temperatures of around 45C before but with no visible yellow tint.
But now i can easily find one at the bottom in white background. Damn does it got to do something with usage over time???
Sony confessed that it would be visible over 40c. But why dint i get it before and why now???
