[KERNEL][04/16/2012 Update]2.6.35.14 for CM7 ROMs

NOTICE

This nice job is not mine! It first be posted by wusijie@gfan(a chinese android BBS the original post can be found here http://bbs.gfan.com/android-3810842-1-1.html ) .I just have flashed it for days.it runs really faster than before! Strongly suggest you to flash it if you are using any CM7.


HOW TO INSTALL

1.Download zip file to sdcard
2.Reboot to recovery(my re version is 2501 and it works)
3.Nandroid is recommended before flashing!!
I'm IRRESPONSIBLE about issue it may cause!!
4.Choose this zip package to install
5.If you have done custom MTD you better flash its boot mode again
6.Reboot after installing


BUGS AND OTHER

This kernel package has new wifi driver it is different from 2.6.32.x. So new wifi module will work in this new kernel.Thank to wusijie he has tried to compile wifi module for a long time.

You should know two points:
1.If you do not like this kenrel wanna restore,please restore wifi lib files too otherwise you cannot open wifi again!You better backup files first.Where are those files?You can open the zip package too see!

2.Since its a personal job and not peferct portable wifi hotspot not working in this module.I have tried to connect wusijie to fix it.If you need the funtion badly donot flash it.

1.Support swap
2.Add sio i/o schedule and set sio as default instead of bfq
3.Add ipv6
4.Add smartass and lazy governor
5.Compile a module to the kernel(his origin words.i do not know whats his meaning...)

What are the frequencies and what governors included? How is it compared to drowningchild's modded kernel?

Goes up to 864, no undervolting and no smartass governs. Pretty smooth and no reboots or glitches so far. I run 806 on demand.

just all the same as cm7 default 245 to 864 and no smartass.but its really fast just @600 can run as fast as drowningchild@768 im not kidding

yep open it and shows error.i have asked wusijie he said that he cannot find ap hospot source code to compile
