I recommend deadline on the supersonic, particularly after my next version drops which has some improvements for deadline used with flash memory.
I have set it to deadline using System Tuner but noticed the cache size" is set to 0. Is this where it should be or should it be at another value?

Using AOKP M4.

Sorry for my noobness.

Subjective, there are lots of varying opinions, that delve away from the scope kernel building. 1024 is a good place to start. Many claim the the sweet spot is between 3072 and 4096 based on spec.

Wimax is not a kernel only thing, unfortunately there are some framework bits that need to be there as well. As far as I am aware its the last thing on the list of things needed to get ics running smoothly on the supersonic for most devs.

I'm rocking CM7.1 by day & AOKP Milestone 4 by night. Thank you for all your hard work & dedication to Android.

This is a 100% correct statement. I'm more concerned with fixing issues like MMS and front facing camera vs. Wimax. Very few people actually have Wimax and it requires more code than could be done in a few days. I do know that some guys got it working on a GB MIUI clone (CIUI). This means that it is possible, if we can get them to help us ICS devs work on the framework, we might be able to get it. Good work on the Kernel. Going to try it on my ROM, I'll let you know.

The only report of that I have had was actually the user not having it stay awake on sleep which is a setting.

The issue with msg split is rom level. Front facing camera is both kernel and framework at the moment. Wimax is actually not that complicated its just there's nothing in ics itself that deals with it so lots of rom level work. The drivers it runs on are at least semi functional in the kernels we have, some work needs done there but not nearly the level that will be needed at the rom level.

right. I was just using those as an example. Thank you though. Kernel is a little laggy. I'm sure you know that. We will see how battery life is.
