Default [Q] Pink screen- no update to stock rom

I use cm7 for a while and want to install aurora ics, copied dload file to sd card.
I turned on phone while holding +- and power button simultaniously.
Booted into pink screen but no update started.
I tried replacing boot and recovery image with original but makes no difference
Tutorial in aurora thread from cm7 to aurora doesn't work for me
Earlier i also installed miui once maybe this is the problem?
Can someone help?

Try putting the dload folder in internal memory or try to remove battery, plug USB cable and pressing volume keys and power before the phone boots...

You still don't use Dropbox? WTF?
Install it here and both of us receive 500Mb free.
Or you want 20GB free from copy.com?
Click Here to receive an additional 5Gb on top of the 20Gb

Also, if this is the fist time you're updating to .35, I recommend you use this version of stock

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1545923

That won't lock your bootloader, so you'll have USB access in pink mode at all times to easily install recovery images.

by "dload" file i think u meant the stock gb rom (B522, B526, B528, etc.), right?
if yes pls describe how u put file in the sd card with detailed directory structure..

also, change to cwm 5.5.0.4 to flash aurora rom..

I recommend you use the one from the link I posted, because any other stock 2.3.5 ROM and you'll end up with a locked bootloader and, because of that, with no access to usb in pink mode. that would be reversible, but requires more unecessary work....

To start the upgrade process you must have the UPDATE.APP inside a dload folder in the root of sd card. Any other file structure and the upgrade process won't start.
It should look like this:

SdCARD/dload/Update.app.

I had the same problem - no automatic update, only pink screen.

Then I tried another microSD-card and it worked.
