Can someone with root do me a favor?

Hi,

I'm still evaluating the Captivate Glide (I have 30 days to do so), but before I root the phone (and possibly void my ability to return the phone should I decide not to keep it), I would like to find out if this particular phone is compatible with the Sony PlayStation 3 bluetooth SixAxis controllers. There's an app which can be run only by rooted users which will indicate if the Captivate Glide is compatible with the PS3 controller:

Could someone with a rooted stock ROM please download this app, run it, and let me know if the Captivate Glide is compatible with the PS3 controllers? Perhaps even provide a screenshot of the results? Thanks in advance!

Wow this sounds great. Sorry that I am not rooted to be able to try it for you. I am leaving my phone stock as to not void warranty yet.

Unfortunately the compatibility check on my phone failed. I'm running rooted Rogers ROM

Thank you for the confirmation. I'm guessing that the AT&T version will also similarly fail the compatibility test. Unfortunately, I think this is going to be a dealbreaker for me, as I was planning to hook up this phone to my HDTV and play games on it remotely via the PS3 controller.

Of course, I posted this thread before I found this: http://www.phonejoy.us/. It even looks like the PS3 controller! Heh.

Still deciding between the Captivate Glide and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro...

I have a AT&T version and just wanted to confirm that it fails the compatibility test. I wonder what will happen first or if either will ever happen. This App being compatible with the Glide or Cyanogen being developed for the Glide. Lol.
