Same problem here. After updating to 1.25 my signal icon would randomly become grey and Google talk would not be able to sign in. Please sort out this problem. This wasn't an issue on 1.2 and below.

I don't actually have a signal issue but what is the most up to date radio? I'm on at&t and currently using UGKL1

UGLC1 is newest for Northern America. I'm on the latest European baseband: XXLA2 & franco.Kernel r143

KK6 is an older baseband no?
May be try a cusom kernel too. Works for me.
