CWM

HI

Well i wanted to try this rom, but im having a h..l of a time trying to install CWM. Nothing seems to work, cant get anything else than stock recovery mode to show.

All rom i install in the past i used odin, and the custom recovery mode was included.

I now flashed kqb base with odin, i cant get CWM to work so i can install the rom.
The guide from the thread on how to install CWM is total russian to me, and i cant find a guide to install it with odin.

Well to make it short, i need help installing CWM.

Ahhh , well after spending 5 hours to get this running, i gave up, and asked for help. 5 min after asking for help , i saw the light, and im up and running WIERD . next time im stuck with something, i will just write my question in a textfile on my desktop.

Just flash via odin file recovery. One odin file. Like rom, then boot in to recovery. vol up + power. Next choose install zip from sd card and file zip.

Init.d it's in /system/etc/ but you no need delete to use cpu master. If you install cpu master then deamon oc is off.

When you go settings/about/kernel/ it is not skyhigh but some other letters

To check md sum use Babylon. Now kernel info show correct?

or just the tool md5sum.exe, available for windows and linux

I want to overclock to 1.8ghz but each time i set it and restart it or even when it goes to sleep mode or lock mode,the overclocking app Cpu Master(not using Demon OC coz i hate its visual interface) changes it to default 1.6Ghz !!

Plzz give instruction to solve this as in other forums i saw somewhere that we should delete the init.d file in system or just edit the awake governor insyd init.d

Delete virtuos_oc folder form /etc/ .

But deamon oc is more efficient at boot. The system starts with the cpu clock speed of how you set. Cpu master after the boot start the setting wicht you want.

u don`t really need to use Odin to flash CWM just flash attached zip from stock recovery, just make sure you have the zip saven on INTERNAL SD since you`r external isn`t saw in stock recovery

File corrupt if you can please check again.
