Some problems with rom

Wifi stopped working

radio does not have an close or exit button have to reboot phone.

Most apps have stopped working


unsure to the cause of this. Anyone got any ideas ???

I don't have these problems. Did you do the full wipe first install the rom?

You done everything as instructed to do so. Even re installed and has gone back the same way after a few hours

I also don't get this problem my wifi work's fine and is fast.
Have you tried on a different wifi access point or re-setting your wifi router? Only a idea

make sure you are using alfs8 cm7 not gdx
why?
before, i have a same problem with wifi but i try to check again my kernel
my problem is i using alfs gdx not cm7....

Radio?
There is no radio here.

I have all gapps working apart from gtalk to do this download gapps for cm7 and using root explorer open the gapps zip and move the app you want to install to system/app and set permission to
[X][X][O]
[X][O][O]
[X][O][O]
IE: x is tick o is no tick
Reboot your phone and gapps will work. Instead of talk.apk I use IMO.apk from play store.
As for radio I can't help other then to say use tune in radio from the play store. I use this app for radio as it work over the internet so don't need headphones to work. To tell the truth I swap radio.apk.for tuneinradio.apk in all cm6/7 roms as I find it work better and also where it work from the internet you can get your favorite radio station any where in the world unlike radio apk.

But in my opinion when this Rom is set up with cm7 gapps and other little tweeks is it very smooth and fast with good battery and very little lag in games.
So here is what I did it's not much but it works

Tweeks:

1. odex for any Rom by puppet13th. You will find in x8 development

2.install Ram manager pro and use balanced more free ram setting

3.delete unused apps from system/app

4.Install chainfire3d


I'm using mod4 for stock kernel

The only real bug that I don't know a work around for is the messed up call screen when I set ring style in dark shin engine™/lockscreen/style/call style.
I have posted screen shot link 2 or 3 pages back so if any one knows of a fix please post you fix as will help with the development of this Rom for stock kernel.
But I don't know if this is a bug in other kernel's as I have locked bootloader so can't try maybe some 1 with custom kernel could try to see if the same bug appears or if this is just a bug in stock kernel build.
