This is ICS rom, not GB. You can't have hboot 1.17, upgrade it.

In order to install the ROM, you need to have the latest ICS Firmware 3.32
From here http://goo.gl/txov2 . Put into root directory of your sd and reboot into bootloader and install.

OK, I understand that now. The guide I followed didn't mention it and the rom thread didn't have much help on how to install it. I'm a noob!

So even though my phone is in reboot mode I can put the pg58img file on my sdcard and install it and all will be well?

Yes, put it in the ROOT directory of your SD and reboot into bootloader.
