I was showing both phones to many people, side by side, we all can easily see that SLCD2 is better.
This might change when Super AMOLED HD Plus is ready, that would inscrease crispness.
Until I see some side by side comparisons of any new screen (for example SGS3) I don't even think of replacing my One X.
I believe SLCD2 in One X is as of now the best you can get.
I've got both devices as well and would agree that the HOX display is definately better. The GN display is still good though and I'm perfectly happy using either.

Samsung are the kings when it comes to spec pi**ing competitions so I'm sure they'll be having a damn good go at beating the HOX display with the G3.

Yes, not saying that GN display is bad. But like reviews say, when you see SLCD2, there is no going back. This will happen with any new better display...

Who makes the SLCD(1/2) displays? Is it Samsung or Sony? definitely not HTC.

HTC doesn't produce any displays, they design and assemble phones.

I got HTC sensation ang GS2 at launch last year and The GS2 was the winner and been using that untill now. Now I got One X and the Note and during the past year I been loving SOLED+, so atm i prefer SOLED, since no backlight is way more relaxing for my eyes to look at.

I love the size of OneX though, so looking forward to the GS3 :)

There's a pretty in-depth comparison of the two screens here that you might wanna check out:

http://www.stuff-review.com/2012-04/...xus-vs-ipad-3/

I would say the One X has an advantage but by not as much as I initially though it would.

It's kind of flattering that an LCD panel held its own against AMOLED as well as the One X's did. I agree with the reviewers conclusions and it does come down to personal preference. It's nice to have choices.

I like how everybody is bashing the Oleds for bad colors and stuff, but so far in both the comparisons (like the above link, and another one posted before that) the whites look much more natural on the Amoleds and terrible/yellow on the SLCD. But nobody is talking about it.

Mine isn't yellow at all..must be a faulty One X that u have there..n I do prefer IPS super LCD 2 of One X..its a RGB display..not the cheap pebtile on all HD superamoleds out there..so the blacks are blacks indeed on One X ..unlike the blacks of superamoled which has grey squares n circles on blacks(black clipping) n serious color banding too..sold off my note coz of that crap..
