I made a basic purple theme for those hating the blues. There are some blues I still could not get out. If someone wants to do the xml edits to fix those please do and you can release the modded version with my blessing. To change the clock color go into ROM Control and clock settings to change the color to purple to match the other status bar setttings. Screen shots will be up later.


For the Alpha Build 28ish ROM download the one with B28 in it.

For the Alpha Build 29 download the one with B29 in it.

Had to make the signal bars a little brighter to see in sunlight.

I gave you apk manager... use it :P place the framework in the apk for modding decompile it in the script edit the values/colors.xml look for
Background_holo_blue_light=#ff33b5e5 change this value to your purple value. Save it recompile it and viola no more blue

OK, been trying this all day. Still got some blues I can't get rid of. I edited the xml and changed every blue color code I could find to purple and still end up with the blues in the dropdown. Anyone know how to change those to purple? Thanks.

File in OP has been updated with the text now in purple. If you flashed it, redownload and flash again.

Not sure but just a thought, use 7zip to extract the system UI and it might just be some pngs in there that need to be colorized. Not sure how aokp and cm9 themes work. Never really looked into one, but that's probably where I would look first. Looking good so far though Kenny.

Went through all the pngs and cannot find those cyan on pngs but maybe it is several together or because it may be a 9.png I am not seeing it.

Is there any pngs at all in there that are still cyan colored. I had a problem like this with my theme and just started going through everything and I found something with that color I would change it. Just kept doing that till I finally figured it it out. Not really the right way of doing things, but I don't play by the rules :]
Good luck with that. If I get time tomorrow and you haven't figured it out maybe I can try to help you look through it.
