I have a question: removing the lines which effects may have on general performances? I don't play games...
I test this tweak but battery drain is always the same...

Hi,
I'm not having this huge battery drain...
Are you using the "original" rom configuration?
I ask this because the simple change of Lancher may cause a battery drain or the installation of other apps.
With a regular rom (like the uploaded one) and installing only FaceBook, Adobe Reader, Whatspp and similar apps my battery is ok, no drain...

If someone wants help, please write a configuration (installed apps, tweaks added, init.d scripts, etc etc). Thank you for collaboration.

As I said I installed version 1.4, in this version battery lasts a relatively long time to me how much I use my phone (2 days).
[ Before you install v1.4 you must :
9) Wipe data/factory
10) Wipe cache
11) Wipe Dalvik Cache(under "Advanced" section menu) ]
(features that are not used - off , Wifi, GPS, automatic sync etc...)

I have no problem with the battery...

p.s.1: big thanks Kalo for upload original .apk's, now i have all what i need
p.s.2: sorry for my english

Maybe qq launcher is not well viewed by B876...
I really don't know what is and where is the problem...
I hope to collect more possible information by all you, maybe I can find the issue.
Thanks to all users who appreciate my work!

I have used the same apps with 1.3 and also tried to use the oc kernel without problems. Now there isn't oc kernel, tonight I've just wiped all, installed the 1.4 + my usual apps and leaved the u8800pro connected to the charger. This morning no problem...but when I've opened gmail for check, the battery has dropped from 98% to 80% in a couple of minutes. After this I've not used the phone for some hours, around 15:45 checked this forum and was at 53%...

It is suggested to do a battery calibration when you change roms.Yesterday i charged to 100% and after 13 hours with 2 hours wifi on i m at 75%. i think its ok for this kind of use.

i have an app named BatteryCalibration to do this, its icon is a android with a % mark in it. let it charge to 100% and it wil inform you with a sound. then press battery calibration button or reboot to recovery mode go advanced and press wipe battery stats. after this its recomended to let the phone fully discarge and then Full charge at 100% without interuptions. with this system generates a new battery stats file and it will tell you with more accurasy the % of your battery.
