The issue is that for MIUI:
+xx 123 456 7890 is not equal to 0 123 456 7890

So would the fix not be:
Check number from right to left, and to compare in both formats, disregard the initial digit (0) if there is no + to begin with... if there is a + to begin with, then disregard that and the 2 left-most digits. If these two (with the discards taken out) are the same, it is the same number, essentially.

Now I know disregarding 2 left-most digits will pose issues for countries like the USA where the code is +1, as opposed to the UK where the code is +44 (2 digits), but the chances of someone having an entry in their phonebook for say the UK, that is +44 123 456 7890 and ALSO for the exact same number but in the Netherlands (+31 123 456 7890) are infinitesimally small! So I think this logic might work as a check?

I do wish I knew the code as well I think I've explained a "possible" logic to fix the bug...
Umm okay the issue you're talking about is I guess is only fixable by MIUI developers. You might want to report them the problem.

idk if this has been pointed out but video camera force closes and sometimes even fileexplorer otherwise this is a pretty stable rom.

also is it possible to add music controls to the volume keys so we can change songs with them?

few questions reg. the changelog, maybe you can clarify a bit, it can only help you differentiate from the other MIUI flavors available:

...
Superuser added -> why add SU when MIUI has its own app?
...
Internet tweaks -> examples?
Hardware acceleration -> as opposed to?
...
Battery life tweaks -> examples?

Thanks!

If you browse a few pages back you can see I told someone I find superuser better. You can browse the system folder for the tweaks.

Hi, is there a simple way to rearrange the icons alphabetically? Also, I can't get rid of the shadow framing from the icons. Any ideas? Thanks.

Great ROM, and all. But, I'd like to update. But then the package/update package always has errors...

And half of the ROM is still in some sort of Asian language. I'd tip on Malaysia, but that's probably just me

But still, please render all messages to english...
It would be great
