Smile [MOD][ICS][ROOT] Custom build.prop (based on crossix's mod)

The mods are not mine, I only adapted the [MOD] HC custom build.prop - Updated: 1/29/12 into ICS's build.prop.

Works fine on my A100 running [LEAK][ICS 4.0.3] Acer_AV041_A100_0.009.00_WW_GEN1

Not tested on A101.

Mods (from [MOD] HC custom build.prop - Updated: 1/29/12 ):
A little about the build.prop file and what it does:
Your build.prop file contains a lot of information about your tab. Things like what model, version of android, manufacturer and other info can be found within, but it also can control certain aspects such as display density, wifi scan time and other misc tweaks that improve overall smoothness.

This build.prop file contains the following changes:

# Makes the market and apps think your a100 is really an a500 (letting you find and buy more apps then what you'd normally see in the market)
# Speed up UI (smoother flinging)
# Battery saving tweaks
# Inet optimization tweeks

# Additional tweaks to fine tune the touch screen (still has the double letter issue when typing too fast)
# Additional tweaks to improve battery saving while tablet sleep
# Comments for the various tweaks

# Added settings to improve image quality when taking pictures and recording video and speed up bootimes (just by a few seconds) [thanks to tehgyb of xda]

# Added settings to improve streaming media streaming (improves youtube preformance) [thanks to Icewyng of xda]
# Added settings to improve app compatibility (less fc's) [thanks to Icewyng of xda]

Installation guide (from [MOD] HC custom build.prop - Updated: 1/29/12 ):
- Open root explorer and navigate to /system and tap the mount r/w button
- Unzip the file and put build.prop in /system (be sure to make a backup copy first!)
- Reboot and watch your tab fly even faster!

Thank you, I plan install ICS, Root and then implement your MOD, the Memory Swap (so I can use my 32GB card instead of the Measly 5GB that Acer provides). Thanks again, I didn't know they limited the Apps on the A100! I'm dealing with that BS on my Prime. It's ludicrous that I can play Modern Combat 3 effortlessly on my G2x, but it's supposedly incompatible with my Prime.....So, I'm thanking you ahead of me even getting my little A100. Hope the best for me!

Any thoughts on if this fixes the digitizer issue? I don't have ICS anymore to test. You can test by downloading TouchUtil app and just run your finger across the screen and see if it'll skip. This was one reason I went back to HC with crossix original build.prop mod.

Here was the original issue with HC but was fixed with crossix build.prop mod

This didn't work for me. After installing my tab went into an infinite reboot and I had to go into recovery and restore back to defaults. When I was using HC I was using Crossix's mod and never had a problem with that.

Is there any changes in the stock 009 build and the stock 012 build (build.prop files)?

The touch screen does seem to be better in the latest leak. But it might have been the Acer Liquid app.

same problem here, market isn't showing all apps. I rebooted, but the gameloft games still don't show up. Order and Chaos, the only game i play, is now unattainable. Thanks

If you guys are still having issue with market you can try this mod and just edit the lines yourself.

OP I noticed you didnt change any of the build.description and build fingerprint line to a500.
