Is the good version or the bad version?

Thanks,

I am no dev, but I thinks the problem has to do with formatting, all bricks reported thus far has been a result of some type of wipe but it is not consistent so it is hard to troubleshoot issue.

Where does the recovery get instructions on what to format when the command is called by a user, if there is some conflict there and when a user instructs recovery to wipe cache or dalvik or system partition, if recovery is given wrong partition information to format, then we could be closer to finding the cause

Just a guess here, I am totally lost, but I am very curious

I did not make any modification in CWM recovery for about a week and my changes are not in wiping or formatting part (only one exception and it is label change only to format internal/external)

I am uploading 3.1 which is based on update4 sources.
if you dare...
or just install any other kernel.

I will stay on Siyah to the end. And I think no one makes you a reproach. Flash on your one risk, a fact

Is it with the changed filesystem mounting, or is it as it is use to be?

Better to have the half features of Siyah than a bricked phone. So I'll definitely flash.
Just don't rush up, that's all

GK, is it possible to write a safety command into recovery where when the user asks to format a partition, a check is done and if the partition information received matches the address of bootloader partition, then the wipe is aborted with some sort of error???

I have tried:
* Swap batteries
* Use JIG
* Use ODIN
* Multiple key combinations
* Pray

Phone is still bricked. But I have noticed one strange thing - when phone is with battery pulled in - it's getting hot in the place near the SIM card..
