I just have the impression that all this "BLN with special effects" thing is starting to turn towards the wrong direction. Certainly there are some people who don't care about power consumption and just want some impressive stuff on their phone. Nothing wrong with that, I respect it! But maybe there are some others who use their phones more professionally and do care about power consumption.

Anyway never mind. I'm sure GM will do his best to make everyone happy

Remember, you dont HAVE to enable BLN in the first place, so what's the issue here? I think its a fabulous feature to have, and Gokhan is going above and beyond to make our GS2's an even better thing to use.

I think he's talking about BLNWW. It was removed because it increased power consumption even for people not using BLN.

He wants bln but he wants it as minimalistic possible with less power consumption so it doesn't waste much battery and he could use it for work many hours without charging.

Understandable. I want the same since I need bln and I use it mostly for work but I cannot demand it from gohan. He is free to decide what he wants to implement. He could enable Christmas lights blinking if he feels like it. Its our choice if we will use them or not.

Just my opinion.

Couldn't have said it any better. It's been the same with CM7 and BLN. Tons of noobs claiming to see some reduction in battery life, just because BLN support was in the kernel.
Its the same as if you'd argue "hey my electrical bill is starting to go through the roof, that must be because of those new lights I installed, though I never use them".

Don't worry, it's CSC problem, not bricked or anything if you can still access the OS. Just reflash CSC..
