Is there any test to confirm if the kernel does or doesn't support it?

If using acid tweaks, can I just delete the content of initd folder and apply this script? Thank you.

after applying this fix my phone got even more smooth than it was. but i got more lags after startup. 10 secondes after i entered my phone pin code, media is scanning for new files. why this long delay.. but very nice programm!!!

I also got very hard lags on startup, but after media scanning is done everything is smooth like heaven

The startup delays are due to the init.d scripts running. So, your phone has more to do on startup than it used to, and that takes longer. Since the phone now runs smoother...we can handle a slightly longer boot time.

No need to reflash the entire ROM. Delete everything in /etc/init.d (except for _99ramset, which is autogenerated), then flash the script zip file from CWM. You should see the difference after the next reboot.

Nice
Just one thing:
Zipalign at each boot should not be necessary, maybe just make it as one shot script. (The system files are not supposed to evolve with use)
And the up thresold for conservative scheduler as screen off seems a little bit too agressive, something around 76 or 80 should be enough (i set 90 up and 50 down and have no issues).

I got a nice boost in FPS, great work.

Unfortunately with Stock JVT I had a few random freezes whilst playing 3d games using the latest Talon 0.5.1.5 (with new clean install).

Flashed again, but this time with Semaphore 1.8, and until now it's perfect!
