Qualifications:
  • Excellent Java and C++ programming skills

  • Experience with embedded Linux device driver
  • Understanding of the ARM architecture, Linux Kernel, BSP, and graphics / multimedia frameworks
  • Programming experience (5+ years) in C/C++ in embedded OS environment
  • Experience with Android ROM build system and framework customization
  • Hands-on experience in developing embedded device drivers, middleware, and applications in both Linux and Android environments

Project Specifics:
Seeking a full time developer with experience in building and customizing ARMv5TE Board Support Packages for both Linux and Android.
  • We are looking to enhance our Marvell PXA168 based kiosk product line with robust embedded Linux Desktop and Android solutions.
  • We have existing BSPs for Windows CE 6.0, Linux 6.2.34, and Android 2.2. Additional work is required to make the Linux and Android BSPs production ready.
  • Our target customer offering is for Android 2.3 and an ARM Linux Desktop distribution such as Fedora, Core, Ubuntu, or Debian.
  • Each operating system solution must include a locked down kiosk mode as well as an end-user customizable Desktop environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Developing / adding features to the Linux and Android Platforms
  • Interact with customers and third-party solution providers to support product integration
  • Provide board level production support including initial software loading and configuration
