CleanROM Developer Edition was designed to be a cleaned up Verizon Stock ROM Leak of Ice Cream Sandwich with a lot of Sense Removed! All HTC and Google Apps are up to date as of 5/9/2012. ROM is de-odexed and based on Leaked RUU 3.11.605.22. ROM Supports both Gingerbread and ICS Firmware and S-ON or S-OFF!

Changes in Version 1.4 - 5/9/2012

• New: Changed kernels and build.prop to latest 3.14 Base
• Added: ICS Browser back in
• Updated: Adobe Flash
• Removed: Chrome
• Removed: All Files from SD Card. Can be downloaded in Post #2.

• Start Application
• Go to Settings
• Select Device Type -> Galaxy Nexus LTE
• Select Change Setup-Method -> netd (master)
• Select Enable WiFi-Encryption -> Your Choice
• Select Routing Fix
• Start Tether and allow Root

There are 4 ways to install CleanROM Developer Edition 1.4

NOTE: If you are not S-OFF or on ICS Firmware you will need to download the Extra's and place them on the root of your SD Card BEFORE you flash the ROM! They are no longer included in the ROM file itself!

Download Gingerbread Firmware patch HERE! - You only need to do this if you are on Gingerbread Fimrware!

Alternate Kernels

I have created a flashable 3.13.607.5 Kernel and a flashable 3.14.605.5 Kernel for the ROM.

Some people feel that the 3.13.607.5 kernel gave better battery and cooling than the latest kernel.

Feel free to download and test for yourself!


These are in old school method as to make one simple step for everyone. This also resets mainver to 1.00.000.0


Instructions

1. Download to root of SD Card
2. Reboot to Recovery
3. Flash Zip
4. Phone will reboot to hboot
5. Press power one time so it will scan the SD Card
6. Install boot.img when prompted
7. Reboot when prompted

This is not meant to be a daily driver for everyone! This is a work in progress and should be flashed for experimental purposes only. Please report any bugs you find. More importantly post any FIXES you find!

Do not flash this ROM if you need any of the features that are listed in the known issues!

1. MMS May not send
2. Exchange may not sync
3. Nothing else has been tested

I'm not really an Android dev so I'm sure I should stay away for a few versions but man do I hate Sense. So tempting Scott...

Thank you! I think I'm ready to run the RUU with the new firmware, but I just wanted to double check that we shouldn't run into any issues in the future. If the OTA has a lower mainver or a lower HBOOT, would we be screwed? And if you went back and ran the GB RUU, everything would be back to normal except you would have a new HBOOT (2.21 I think)?
Looking forward to flashing this. I love senseless and was holding off on updating to the new RUU until someone made one.
