I would like to know which kernel is better to use. I'm on MNICS 143 LR and JPG modem.
When 1.9 version be ready?

i think that the best way to know which kernel is the best is to try them...i started with midnight, then tried devil and finally semaphore...for me the best kernel (now) is semaphore 1.0.0s...for modems is the same story: u have to try them to know which is the best FOR YOU...because it depends from the place u are, from your "phone operator" (i don't know which is the correct name, but i mean one of these: H3G, vodafone, tim...)...so the best way is to try everything
i can tell you that FOR ME the best kernel is semaphore 1.0.0s and the best modem is zsjpg

Why and how to fix it?
