I am sorry but any DINC ROM that uses tiamats kernel in my eyes ( and its just my opinion) is not worth it even if it has HWA for now. Reasons, slow (if anyone has used chads kernel for ICS knows how much faster it is) battery life is terrible, no fast charge, can't set voltages, and many more. This is why I use AOKP in my opinion protekk and his team are doing a much better job at maintaining a fantastic ROM and ALLOWING US to use any kernel we want. Just a thought...again not trying to start a flame war just stating what I think I respect all developers

so nobody start fighting or else I will recant for the sake of sanity here on XDA cause I love this place

After reading all you've posted today, I'd appreciate you taking a break from this forum. If you have nothing of value, nothing of importance, nothing good to say - just don't say it.

how is this nothing of value stating that one kernel performs better than the other and that at a developer stand point should be looked at and have this issues ironed out and incorporated.....just curious why your so upset for a thought....i am pretty sure freedom of speech applies even here my friend

Ha ha, I'm not "upset" I'm just struggling to understand what purpose there is in going around bashing others work and loudly voicing your self-proclaimed opinion with nothing to vindicate your concerns... Simply put, you're just coming off as a dick.

uhhh did you not read the part about me respecting all developers....or you just skip past that part because you love starting flame wars on a internet forum to further your pursuit of ego?

This has nothing to do with a flame war nor my ego (not sure where you got that), it's about learning what is appropriate.

Whatever man. All I'm saying is, if you do have respect for these devs, treat them with a little more respect next time.

Thanks to the dev for this preview. ICS is working pretty well with a few bugs. The biggest one for me and the reason I can't use it as a daily driver is the battery life. Also the browser seems to be broken, and I like using the stock browsers... Excellent preview though!

While I personally prefer the incredikernel, not all of your statements are accurate. Contrary to your statements, you can adjust voltages and improve battery life with the Tiamat kernel. You just need to use Vipermod. I found that downloading the latest Tiamat kernel and lowering the voltage by -50, improved battery life. It also gets you the SA2 governor which is one of the best governors available. What I really miss is the USB fast charge. As far as the non-HWA ICS roms, I did not find the Tiamat kernel "slow." On my phone, I found the incredikernel was a bit smoother.

I do appreciate the efforts being made by all of the developers to keep the Dinc roms and kernels alive and well.
