Thumbs down hyperion 2600mAh galaxy note battery? proved it's fake

hi bodies,
i purchased a Hyperion Samsung Galaxy Note from amazon a week ago, which someone recommended in this forum. it's mark 2600mAh on the back of the battery, so, should be last a little longer than my stock 2500mAh right? but after a few cycles, i feel strange it looks like last only half as long as my stock battery.
i teared off the label whether this battery is good or not, see what i found, there is some code LS514664AR 1750MAH. 2011/12/19.
accoding to my mechanical engineering experience, LS514664AR is the serial number of battery cell, and 2011/12/19 must be the date of manufacture, and 1750MAH is the real capacity of the cell, which means this battery is 1750mAh.
much more less than the 2600mah they marked, and also the 2500mAh original.
i was so disappointed with this company, they made poor products for us, and cheat us more over! i will never trust this company again, anyone else have their batteries? just tear off the label, you can see what you get.

You shouldn't trust any battery, even one that says OEM, from Ebay or Amazon. Especially when they are charging $10 for what should be a $25 battery. When I see that I always order 2 because I know they are fake and will not last as long.
Best phones I've had in 18 years of owning a cell phone ...................
1994 Motorola MicroTAC First "compact" cell phone, ever. My first cell phone, ever.
2007 HTC Advantage First phone with a 5" screen, ever. Had a stylus, too.
2012 Samsung Note Brilliant 5.3" screen. Useable form factor. Decent UI. Stylus. Best phone, ever.

DONATE TO ME
I got two of those Hyperion batteries and a wall charger off eBay for $25 shipped. Even if they are 1750mah, they won't damage the Note they just wont last as long. After SEVERAL cycles they are lasting me 4-5hrs of steady use, which for $25 is worth the money for an emergency backup(s).

I agree 100%. People are foolishly buying these cheap batteries thinking they are getting a great deal but what they are getting is cheap counterfeit battery that doesn't perform as well as the original and could do damage to the phone.

Be smart people, pay the extra money and buy your batteries at legitimate vendors, your mobile provider or Samsung directly. If one of these cheap batteries happen to explode and leak all over your phone you can kiss you warranty goodbye.

The OP should write a negative review of the product on Amazon and post pictures of the counterfeit battery backing his claim.

Arent people just asking too much? If they dont mark it high enoigh will u buy? And if there are no non-oem companies around, will u complain oem charging 30 bucks for same capacity battery? Though i agree company shouldnt mark high, but at the same time these companies.need.to be around to keep cost down. Else oem charging $100 for battery is justifiable (like apple!)

I have a 5000mah hyperion battery for my galaxy note, and I ripped off the label and it says "1500mah" directly on the battery... further peeling of the sticker shows what appears to be 3x1500mah batteries under the shell.. so 4500mah on a 5000mah advertised battery.

I'll post pictures later but it says:

1500mah

I also purchased the Hyperion battery pack, and the only problem i have had with it, is that the charger broke 2 weeks after i got it. The batteries seem to be lasting pretty close to the same amount of time as my original battery: 8-10 hours w/ moderate to heavy use. I have experienced ZERO problems with the batteries themselves.

it's two inside, if you compare the thickness of your OEM battery, you will find hyperion 5000mAh seems doubled, which means 2*1500mAh=3000mAh.
