Well if we don't get an official port, at least we might get CM9. There was an article on Redmond Pie about CM9 ICS ports on unsupported devices but in not allowed to post links yet :banghead:

But we won't see CM9 til later this year when the official ICS hits the DHD or the right drivers get released. I'm running the latest MIUI.us rom until then.

Talking The HTC Inspire 4G

This is one heck of a phone!!! Like anything else electronic, it has its flaws but when rooted and the proper ROM established it could definitely out perform some of the top smartphones out here. Its definitely worthy of an ICS upgrade.

With the Miui ics, doesn't it still have the camera bug?

Oh I didn't know that the DHD was getting ICS so soon in relation to CM9.

DONATE TO ME
As long as the DHD gets it, getting on the Inspire won't be a problem for people like us that have rooted phones. Hell, you can even get it now, though with some driver problems as would be expected.

The DHD and the Inspire pretty much have the same hardware and drivers aside from the touch screen drivers. Seeing as it works now with the alpha releases the devs have, everything should work perfectly when the DHD gets ICS. I think HTC just recently said it gets the update.

Really? Is that what you think the difference between the Inspire 4G and Desire HD is?
