Strongly suggest you let it settle down first but go ahead and go back. Also you might want to remove unnecessary apps.

I haven't tried this particular flavor yet, though it seems like I may have had some problems with it on a different ICS rom. I think in that case I just restored ADW from Titanium and ran that.

Would you say this is pretty daily-driverish at this point?

What kernel did u use....as far as i know init.d shouldnt work....

Indeed. I've been on it since yesterday. Its fast, smooth, and battery is great.

Is is my imagination or is the Gmail app not in this ROM, nor can I find it in the Market. And when I go to the web version of the Market it tells me Gmail is not compatible with this phone.

New version is up and includes gmail. Sorry that was my fault. But you should be able to install it from the market with no problem.
