I picked up one of these cheaply off craigslist thinking that I was going to just turn around and sell it and pocket some cash, but after playing with it a little bit and reading that it is getting official ICS, I'm actually starting to think I may keep this and switch from Virgin Mobile to Straight Talk. Extra $10/month, but it's so much better than my triumph (with the exception of custom rom support), it's ridiculous. Mario 64 at full speed with no onscreen controls? I'm down

I'm already happy we're getting an official update, that time will be the only factor. Combine that with the recent offering of new roms (or distro's, I think that would be a better name)in the development forum, and you can be pretty sure this phone's future is bright!

when a compeny states their plans for an upgrade usely its means that thier plan is spreaed on the entire queter. so if they announce it in april, it's mean it can be out even in july.

They need to hurry up.

ICS, Captivate Glide? Heck yea!

Finally got hold of one of these to replace my Motorola Milestone a couple of days ago. Annoyingly I only just got the milestone working well with CM7 (2.3.7) a few weeks before, but already I'm impressed by the Samsung.

Mine was on AT&T but have unlocked it now, so guess I will have to wait until the ROM gets uploaded.

Can't wait to see what ICS has in store for us
