Thanks for posting this. I was just about to flash it on DE 1.1 but thought to check for compatibility first since not all CleanROMs are made the same.

I'm trying to find a way to mod the mod quickly so that it will work with DE 1.1, but don't have the necessary knowledge of the innards to get it.

@xjacobx : can you possibly get this compatible with Developer Edition? Also, is the Mms.apk really necessary in the version that does NOT have the inverted app? Just wondering why its there to begin with, but I suspect it has to do with getting the lockscreen link to work.

I thought he said the MMS link was the same regardless if it's the sense or AOSP.

I tried removing the battery icons from drawable-hdpi and adding the sense ones, but with percentage and ICS blue that I think flyhaf made, but it didn't work at all and the screen just went blank so I guess I'm stuck with the circle ones for now.

I can flash some stuff, but if I flash some mods it deletes this mod. I guess it has something to do with the framework-res.apk

Take the the frameworkres out of the zip for this rom and upload it to the online theme kitchen and you can change the battery to whatever you want but I did notice that even the regular 5point lock without mms flashes the mms.apk from aosp, you can delete that out of the zip too if MMS sending is important to you

Ok, so I flashed this, it worked...but it uses that ICS mms/sms app and everything's black. I happen to like the white/cyan stock app. I downloaded the first file that was on the list. any help? should i download a different one? Everything else works like it should and its awesome. looks awesome and its super smooth great job.

I FIXED IT. I just replaced the mms.apk you had in your folders with the stock one from my rom and re-flashed your package. awesome!!!!!!!!

Hey Guys,
Sorry i have been MIA been busy and havn't been checking things on XDA too much lately.

I'll try and fix the zips tonight as it looks like i left the AOSP mms in the other 2. The Stock HTC mms works fine with the lock screen i just perferred using the AOSP one as, i don't like HTCs apps very much.

The reason the battery is getting changed is because have to modify the framework-res to to draw the lock screen. if you flash this over any clean rom, it will take your framework-res back to CleanROM 1.0.

Also i'll update it to the new version of DE. Scott has permission to include this with his next build so thats why i didn't update it my self, as the way things work i will spend 5 hours porting it and he'll post his new version a couple hours later lol.

Thanks guys for the support and when i get some more time hopefully in a week or 2 i'll be working with Scotts base for my own ROM.

Yes AOSP MMS app will not send the pictures, it will recieve them. Newt said he knew how to fix it, but he is working on his Sense 4 port now so i don't think he will be working on that anytime soon. I plan on contacting him when i start my own senseless ROM again. but again, time is very minimal for me lately.

Since this modifies the battery icons, will Scott's Tweaks in DE 1.1 be able to disable battery status? I personally prefer the MIUI battery bar to save space.

Alright guys, i have gotten the updated version of the android.policy.jar working, with the help of IAmTheOneTheyCallNeo so i will be posting an update to this mod soon for anyone that is still running DE 1.1

Hopefully i can figure out why it was causing so many problems with the battery and what not. Give it some time though, i'm helping with NeoMAX now as the 5 point lock is built into his base.
