No signal problem

Hi guys.
I'm a noob and this is my first post

It's about 3 weeks I'm trying to make really "usable" my HTC Salsa. First of all I want to thank you for all your very useful posts!

So I gained S-OFF (from HTC Dev Unlock Bootloader) then I install several roms (.sense, icon, m1ndh4x8r's roms...) but in everyone I have the same problem: the phone has no signal. I can see the SIM code (PIN) prompt and I tried for more sim cards.

Now I'm trying again with .sense. At the first boot, the configuration wizard asked for my carrier; I found the correct one in the list and I choose it. But I can't never get signal

hi nuk3r welcome to the salsa forums!

ok you have everything the same as the rest of us here...just you have an unexplained problem.
ok for starters you say SIM code (PIN) prompt? by that i gather u have a sim lock on there, the one where you boot your phone and before it goes any further you enter your pin and it starts up, am i right?.....for starters remove it, total waste of time!
this will speed up and stop any adverse problems appearing.
as for sim swapping....why?
in the sense roms i was never asked for my carrier....it always detects.
maybe your sim lock is possibly not allowing it.
which 3.5 sense are you using? ben's aroma 3.5 or m1ndh8x4r 3.5 4.7 version? please state as i have all the current roms installed on my salsa.
if you can, get me some screen shots please......3.5 sense has this built in the power menu...but i find for multiple screenshots to use Andro SS, it works nicer. this will capture a screen of your choice helping us further.
