Default [FIRMWARE][6.0.A.3.62][LT26] Xperia S (2.3.7)Cust: 1257-5499 IT

Here is the firmware currently shipped with official Italian XPS.
It seems outdated now but the .67 has roaming problems in Italy.
It's been tested and is full working
It was made by our friend Airfax after a lot of efforts and reading here on XDA.
Thanks to Doomlord, Bin4ry and all other hereand obviously, Airfax

Hei Here we get nervous for non english posts, and I agree, so please next time put also a translation even if bad done is a good thing.

now also the uk .67 had this roaming options but I Had signal lost sometimes without national roaming enabled. Try it maybe the custom number for italy is good. And please refer here or elsewhere we can read.

How can it be that a particular software revision has roaming problems "in italy" but in the rest of the world there are no roaming problems ? roaming is the same in italy as in frace as in india...
if you asserted at the problem with H3G-Italy it's due to an IMPROPER roaming use by that company, and an IMPROPER 3G network configuration by H3g-Italy.
There has been other problems with other phones...
the phones, to save battery, try to limit the network connection to 2G connection, and H3g-ITALY HAS NOT 2G CELLS ! so the phone starts to roaming to another italian company that correctly configured 2G/3G Cells.
It's a phones problem that this behavior should be user enabled or disabled, it's a BIG H3g problem it the network sucks... H3G-Italy cost less than other, but what is the real quality of service offered ?
Backing to phones... many phones had this problem with H3G once on the italian market. Just wait they will make a fix ad-hoc for italy...

I've reported feedbacks from italian forums, me too I've had problems whith Wind company, I had to let enabled national roaming while it is not normally enabled. With national roaming disabled I had signal lost many times and had to restart radio. The roaming menu of the .67 is also different from this in .62.

You can be sure that roaming problems are not only with H3G, but with every operator. Many many people have issues with the .67 firmware......so probably could be nice to say thank you, instead to talk just for criticize......

They released. 73 for italy? I have Lebanon one but there is not PlayStation market as in the Italy one... But. 62 is not usable. Battery couldn't even last a work day... With. 73 it last about 2 days...

Sent from my LT26i using XDA

not yet, they will release because it's the .62 upgrade (i'm guessing), i'm too on the lebanon unrooted one and it's very good and also with no minor problems. I choosed it because with less bloatware, but if you need some preinstalled software you can install the Singapore or the Spain/Portugal ones.
