I must say this ROM (2.2.2) Is excellent!
Thanks!
I was hesitant to upgrade to any ICS ROM until the bugs were worked out, but so far I'm all kinds of impressed. A little niggle here and there, but they seem to be ICS related and not shostock exclusive.

I haven't had any download or installation problems either. Started with 1. Something and upgraded over each version without issues.

:)

Sho, there's a bug in the circle battery mod (at least running under 2.2.1). It's purely aesthetic, but I just wanted you to be aware of it, in case you weren't.. When charging, it gets to 75% (the 3/4 of the icon itself, not 75% charged) and the whole icon disappears and reappears at 75%.

Like I said, purely aesthetic, but just wanted to mention it. Otherwise, running smoothly!

My phone gets stuck at the Samsung GS2 splash screen after updating from 2.2.1 -> 2.2.2

I foolishly deleted the 2.2.1 zip from my card so I can't try installing that.

Any ideas on how to get this thing unstuck?

DO you have another one installed or an external sdcard?

Yea I saw the glitch and fixed it. It happened when I changed the charging animation to speed it up and also replace the 80% charging ones and I didn't think of it until after I saw the glitch. I already fixed it and will be in the next update.

Thanks.

I'm about to go out and get a microSD -> SD converter and load some other roms.
I'll let you know if the thing unbricks itself in the meantime.

Lesson learned today:
Create Backups.

Yes - I love Shostock, but I've had to switch for the time being. CWM backup/restores fail, partial lockups (wifi/wireless indicators still flicker). Haven't tried different kernels other than what it's bundled with. Have even tried kernel cleaners, formatting system completely, etc.

You could try to push a ROM to your internal with adb.

Just use Websharing to transfer the ROMs (if that's why you're buying the sd converter)

Fwiw, I've been back on Shostock2 2.2.1 for three days now, and haven't has any of these issues (haven't made or restored a nandroid since though). came from a completely clean wipe from AOKP. Only issue I've had is very heavy battery drain the first couple days, but I suspect that is due to the full wipe and fresh flash. Today it seems significantly better.
