You need to get the CWM tar file from one of the other rooting/CWM install threads (search). Then make sure only auto-reboot is checked (NOT re-partition) and click PDA. Select the tar and click start.

I hope that is sufficient. Let me know if you need anything else. Online guides said also /data/* but /data was empty.
