Jeez, why is DG, and that whole rootzwiki group being such dicks about all this?
Honestly, WTF.
He couldn't ask nicely, "Could you please credit me for leaking the oneclick for this?" This sort of thing really bothers me, people so hungry for fame, or donations that they can't just work to better the community.
And what is this need to take dirty laundry and air it over twitter. I know social networks are a relatively new thing, but putting ones grievances on twitter or facebook is like standing outside someone's house who you believe has wronged you in some way, and bad mouthing them to anyone who will listen. You just end up looking like a HUGE dick.
And that term, "winzipper," It has become a derogatory term in this android community. Honestly, DG, do you really think so little of everyone else??
You want to know what happened with this ROM?
DG got the leak, and posted it. I downloaded the one-click, and using the tar magic keys, unpacked the 3-4 tar files inside it. I posted that unpacked version of the ROM to our little community IRC here. Task took and unpacked the FS image, deodexed, and rooted the ROM. I repackaged the kernel image initramfs with a CWM capable initramfs, and re-released the kernel with CWM for task to include in his release. To be clear: At no point was winzip used in the process.
Well, I guess I will be the first to say it, Thank you DG for posting the leaked build. Can you please be less of a dick about it though?
