Neatrom ls8 is awesome!

2 of them:
1.Use Rescan Media Root from PlayStore but you'll have to re-enable/disable scanner after every reboot.
2.Delete blobs folder and use .tar as backup format. And check your SD cards for corrupted media files. Delete them and if that doesn't work, move SD cards files to PC format them and move them back after inspection. (I use Teracopy PC software and verify copied files.

I hava home button lag on NeatROM 4.1 Lite

took out the battery for a few minutes, tried really hard to get into recovery (took about 10 tries though) and formatted everything again, including /system, flashed again, booted, play store, cancel all downloads, install TB, keep current ID, restore missing user apps + data as a batch job.

plus, you know, the usual: system settings, set up pre-installed apps (youtube etc.), grant superuser permissions, log into any app that keeps its account in the protected account storage, check and possibly manually merge contacts. this is my usual setup routine after flashing a new rom with full wipe.

the important part, however, appears to be the device ID, trying to restore it the last time caused the device to be stuck at the first boot logo.

what good is this device id anyways? if you only install apps and games from the play store, the license is independent from the device id and whatever device id it shows me in eclipse during usb debugging, i couldn't care less.
i belive the older gameloft games that are not on the play store are licensed for the device id, but still, meh.

Is it for the first time? If yes, give it some time to finish. Then, after next reboot it shouldn't be so long. If however it will continue like that you can use "Rescan media root" app to disable/enable media scanner when needed.

Can anyone confirm whether usb otg is working or not on v4.1....
For Me when connected it notifies usb connector connected but stickmount app doesn't detects anything...
Can't find any usb folder in file explorer..
Not sure if it's rom, kernel or my otg cable problem
