Your very welcome.

One last question, if I select boot in script manager, will it run up every time I boot and reboot?
Yep, If you select boot and then save in script manager it will run the script each time after a full shutdown/reboot That's the way I have mine configured actually.

Is this necessary...or does the script run automatically each time?
No the script will not rerun unless you run it, or configure your system via init.d, script manager, etc to run it at startup.

A good option if you don't plan to use it frequently is to create a Script Manager Widget on the devices home screen that will run the script. Then to run the script you just touch the widget icon sort of on-demand so to speak.

Once the script has been run you will not need to run it again, unless either Adobe Flash has received an update or you shutdown the device.

However if you wish to run it over and over it is safe to do so. The script will run a check first thing and if it detects the libflashplayer.so file has already been modified it will display a message to that effect, verify it's the right version and then exit.

Author of Flashex 2.05 (Enables watching Hulu and others in browser by hex-editing libflashplayer.so file from AND back to WIN, then copies it back to Abobe Flash and checks Adobe Flash for updates, and will re-edit libflashplayer.so when a new version is detected. Compatible with ANY Flash version and any device that can run it )

Widget is a nice option, but I think I'll run it on boot and forget about it.

Yes!! Thank you! Working on my Evo 3D ICS! My .so file didn't exist with the Flash included with my ROM (MeanROM ICS), so I updated Flash from .7 to .8, ran a flash web site, then the script worked fine! So one of those two things must have created the .so file.

The video stuttered a bit, not sure if that was my data connection or my processor.

You're very welcome, and thank you for the feedback.

I have run into the same issue with the libflashplayer.so file before with a new/stock ROM that came wth flash preloaded and after an update the .so file appears. I will have to figure out it's other location and create a check for that some time.

Not sure on the specs for the EVO 3D could be either I'd say, or even memory.

Default Manual install for Asus transformer

I installed the libflashplayer.so manual i just browsed as root with script manager went to data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib and
backedup the previous libflashplayer.so to libflashplayer.so.bac and
pasted the modified on i got from the zip ics_hack_flash_hulu11.1.115.8\data\flash\ and it worked fine on my asus transformer running ICS. flashing through in recovery did not work for me (This should work for any other device going to test it on my Motorola droid 3.

Update works on dolphin HD, Opera mobile and maxthon pad for Asus transformer but stock browser doesn't work
breaks flash on droid 3 had to uninstalled and reinstall flash to regain flash support

You are welcome to try my script. The issue you describe doesn't sound like you used my script at all. It sounds like you downloaded a copy of libflashplayer.so inside a .ZIP file, which IS NOT Flashex, nor does it relate to this Thread.

If I am mistaken please explain what you DID do in relation to my script if anything.

P.S. If you would like help getting it to work and not having to worry about finding a new libflashplayer.so every time Flash updates just try using my script. It works like a charm.

I confirm that this works on my GSM Galaxy Nexus with Jellybean (4.1.1). All you have to do is:

1) Install Flash Player 11.1 [here]
2) Download Flashex205.zip
3) Extract the Flashex2 folder and place on Internal SD Card
4) Run the script (I ran it with Rom Toolbox Pro)
5) Finally in stock browser, go to hulu.com, hit menu, then hit request desktop site.
