Not this version specifically, but I'd guess there's a port of MIUI available for your device.



The audio tweak I pushed is a no-go. It seems to increase speaker volume, but kills the right channel in headphones and makes the left play a center channel?

It's still interesting to see, but it's def. not for consumption yet.

I have a few tweaks I want to share as well eventually. :') I just need to figure out how to package this ish into a flash-able zip.

It's some sweet mods though!
Let's make this the greatest and best supported ROM ever.

if you just flashed try a factory data reset in settings under about phone... dont install anything or restore anything yet. test it out first and see if it works ok .

the recommended recovery program is 4ext if you have not switched yet then please do.

Make sure to check out the first post of this thread by DH. It has been updated pretty recently with how to install info.

As a general rule if i am experiencing something weird I do a factory data reset then flash the newly redownloaded rom again and see if things improve.

ok had some time yesterday to test the rom out again and got pretty much the same results.

i was running the 4EXT recovery the first time, but i reflashed it and wiped multiple times and not taking any chances i went ahead and formated everything (sdcard included) flashed to rom booted

At this point i can say the rom is much smoother and everything is working so far except that i am still having issues with bringing the phone out lock.

Hit the power button after the screen has been off for an while (10 ish mins) and nothing happens i have to do a battery pull.

what i did find interesting is that when the phone is charging ive not had any issues with it coming on and everything works great.

any ideas besides this one issue i'm having the rom is fantastic?

* should also add i have not messed with any of the governors just been using the rom as pure stock.
i'm going to wipe and try testing one more time.

I had a lot of lockups as well and both my governor apps died on me. SetCPU wouldn't move from 0 Mhz and would force close every time I tried to open it and ROM toolbox wouldn't even let me choose a governor. It was completely blank. I flashed Anthrax yesterday and it fixed all the problems including lockups and battery I believe but my camera is messed up as always.

I also noticed the OP was never updated with the new release so people might be running the previous one thinking its the latest.

There are a few things that *could* be causing it. It might be some of the tweaks I've got in, or it could be something kernel-side. Either way, there is work being done to stabilize things...I'll go on more about that down there... VV

As I said above...lots of things going on under-the-hood.

Agrabren is currently working with the kernel source...trying to clean up my mess as well as fix a lot of tiny things that will most likely have a massive effect on performance and stability.

On the other side of the coin, I've gone through a number of ROMS now and taken all the various tweakable settings used and dumped them in a spreadsheet. I've currently got values from MeanROM, Redline, Mine, and SK v.1 and v2.

My *plan* is to get the tweaks from the highest-rated ROMS, get more information on what every setting does (I've got 116, thus far), and then create a few profiles and spend some time seeing how the various profiles behave.


Which means - we probably won't be kicking out any major updates for a little bit until some real progress is made. Knowing what I know now about a few things, anything I'd be pushing out doesn't really seem worth it.

Granted, I'm also very apt to changing my mind for no reason at any given time.


While we work tho...feel free to follow the GIT. I'll probably be dumping files there on occassion, which may or may not be safe for consumption. Either way, stay posted, and we'll let you know when stuff has settled a bit.

Try running the DC script once and disabling virtuous OC manually. There is a script that checks for OC apps, but it may be missing yours...
