How to Unbrick Samsung Galaxy Gio

If your phone doesn’t boot into download mode and you have a black screen after flashing anything wrong. Here's how you unbrick it; worked for me

==Method 1:==

1. Prepare ODIN with the firmware you want to flash (in my case was Gingerbread 2.3.4) and get it ready to go.
   -
2. Remove battery, wait for a bit. Insert battery again.
   -
3. Flash a recovery with your specific filesystem (EXT4 or RFS)-(If you have EXT4, download ext4 only, don't get ext4+rfs)
   -
4. Enter recovery & Wipe | Format:
   • System
   • Data
   • Cache
   • Dalvik Cache
5. Have ODIN ready. Connect phone to PC.
   -
6. Reboot to Download Mode
   Hold Volume down + Power + Home button at the same time.
   -
7. At this point Odin should have detected your Galaxy Gio (Yellow rectangle should appear).
   -
8. Insert the Stock Rom or Custom Rom.
   -
9. Click Start button in Odin and wait about 5 min.
   -
10. Reboot and wait

If all goes well it should come back to life.
If not, repeat the steps above ^ (Atleast 2x)

It was hard to understand but did you mean: "Recovery mode and download mode does not work on my phone. It's not charging in this case. Does this process unbrick the phone with kies?"

Still hard to understand what you mean, did you brick your phone when trying to install clockworkmod?

No, I never turn on my phone. charge can not Kies program and installing the official 2.3.6 TUR after download article but the phone does not open

Try this:
Take out battery and wait for a while. Then put it back in.
Now, again, take out battery and wait for a while. Then put it back in.
Now try Download mode

Step 1 – Prepare odin with the firmware u want to flash (in my case was gingerbread 2.3.4) and get it ready to go;

Step 2 – Remove battery, SIM and SD card, next connect your Galaxy Gio to the computer;

Step 3 – Hold Volume down + Power + Home button at the same time;

Step 4 – Insert the battery and wait a bit;

Step 5 – At this point Odin should have detected your SG Gio ( Yellow rectangle should appear);

Step 6 – Click Start button in Odin and wait about 5 min.

If all goes well it should come back to life.
If not, enter the Stock Recovery and Wipe Data and Cache, then repeat the steps above ^

well mine its not thata bad , i did the flash with odin but it keeps restarting , start image then goes back to logo and so on , what can ido? thanks

Go to recovery and wipe data/cache
