yeah. the fix would be to just record a video then press send to mms. its actually the same process just backwards. so i most likely wont be fixing it anytime soon.

Just tested that with 480p, that works! Has to be a quick video though (like 2 seconds) to stay under 600K, obviously.

Can a user modify anything to get a lower res video capture?
AT&T GSIV, Rooted with Motochopper/SuperSU exploit

not sure. but im also not sure why you would need to go any lower then 480p. anything lower then that would look like a huge blur and not worth video recording.
