My screen is almost impossible to see outside. Especially the little icons in the notification bar for messages and such.
I have the auto brightness checked but it doesn't seem to react much (if at all) outside.
I looked in the custom backlight settings but it seemed like those were for dimming the screen more than making it brighter? Am I misunderstanding the setting and its really an auto dimmer?
Does the auto brightness start at a preset point or does it calibrate off of something? Like, do I take it outside, set the screen brightness I like, then select auto brightness again? Or just set the brightness I like wherever, then tag it to auto? What do you guys do?
Running 5.1.2012 with nothing changed.
On a side note, I stayed away from this rom for quite a while because I was scared of this thread. I mean really, its pretty ruthless in here! LOL. But after trying it all week I must say, it has everything I need or want. If you are reading through the threads and wondering about this rom give it a try. Just dont ask any questions without searching first!

System settings, under ROM control you'll see device settings, then screen, select outdoor mode, click "on" button.
Edit: ****, was responding to FireRaider...sorry.

Yeah, I should probably stick to using my PC for posting. Meant to respond to FireRaider. Fat fingers and all that, plus typing with one hand while drinking...you get the gist.
