My default settings are : smartassV2, 245-691 Mhz, KSM, zRam 26% and 16bit tranparency on, surface dithering and swap off.
FYI I never encountered this problem before since MiniCM9 existed.

The only thing that cause screencut is the CPU frequency and/or its governor.The only way to overcome it is never set the CPU frequency at 691 or 652MHz..

Correct me if i'm wrong..

I don't know is it true or not since I never encountered this problem before. I try to use static wallpaper and it seems solve the problem, at least it not show up anymore.

When i wake up the phone ultra brightness kicks in very late. Is this intended? It's very annoying.

Edit: Never mind... works properly now. Not sure why it wasn't working once...

Not really, sometimes I get screen cuts even on 600Mhz. Overclocking is not the cause it just makes it worse.

Maybe he has a Hitachi screen? It has a lot of problems with alfs 09.
