I just came back to this ROM from AOSP build 1 and I'm still having a problem where changing the volume with the screen on goes in increments of two, unless I manually drag the bar. This doesn't happen with the screen off, but it's just a strange bug I've had on this ROM (works fine on the other ICS ROMs).

I'm running build 5.5 (w/5.6 kernel). I got SoD a lot on build 5. Probably due to the fact that my phone's still one of the earlier models (still on my first one I got in May 2011, went through both baseband updates, etc. so I've had a hell of a time with mine, haha). Thanks for your work though, it's still the most stable ICS ROM I've tried.

It just really hit me wrong. I use this as a daily driver and it works great.

You know that is a problem on your side right ? If you're loosing signal then you're on build 4 or earlier built cause as far as i know EB it's the only and first ICS rom that has ICS data drop bug fixed.
As far as APN not showing when you loose signal in your case that's normal it's not supposed to show anything and when signal comes back up then APN shows again but you shouldn't loose any signal at all with bld 5 or 5.5.
Now it's hard for me to even suggest anything as idk what's going on with your device what's breaking that but you should definitively do a fresh install or maybe you have a bad zip download rom again.

Np lol but i still don't see anything in your log about an app crashing. Which gapps did you flash ?
Tried reflashing and installing apps through googleplay first instead of tb. Then I restored some app data through tb. My issue of system process crashing has stopped. Thanks.

I still get some general instability with this kernel. Random reboots and freezes. Likely just a kernel tweak that's needed. So far pretty good though.

You should avoid TB coming from a different rom the first time as lots of stuff could be carried over.

Did you try 5.6 kernel?

finally. some verification of what we've been believing for a while now. First gen g2x's that came out before the recall and whatever LG did to them are what is causing the disparity in user experience here.
phone: LG G2x
mod: EB ICS build 4 21y
kernel: EB kernel @ 1400
