the release from telus will upgrade everything and at the same time keep everything the exact same (apps, texts, settings, etc), according to their message that is.

I'm running on Mobilicity and i'm trying to install the new 3.6 update that came today but it keeps failing when it reboots itself.

I'm not sure if im missing a major component here, if I need to restore my phone to factory settings for it to work or simply just uninstall 4ext.

We're just putting up Exchange 2010 at work and had problems like you describe for myself and our other admin users, but not for a test account I had.

Turns out that members of certain protected groups, including, for example, domain admins and account operators are effectively blocked from using active sync due to the way that user account's permissions are changed. This change remains even if the account is later removed from the protected groups.

Search Microsoft's KB for info on the adminSDholder object (I am home and do not have the KB numbers here... if you need more info, let me know and I can post more specific info tomorrow.)

small bug with stock browser

I discovered a small bug in the browser, not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but whenever i open an incognito tab, it opens again even after i've closed it. I'll close the tab and exit the browser, and i slide it off of the recent apps, when i click it again the incognito tab that i closed is suddenly open.

I recently replaced my Amaze and have the OTA ICS.

Question is if I want to go back to the stock ICS. Would i just make a back up in 4ext and then restore if I want to go back to stock?

I know I can flash the newest RUU as well but I was wondering how I restore with the OTA ICS if I wanted to.

If this is the wrong thread, please move.

Yes. Make a backup of your stock setup. Then u can always go back if u dont like the custom ics roms

You need stock recovery and a locked bootloader as well if you're s-on.

when i go into recovery i get a red !

Hey there guys! I've run into a bit of a problem.

First, let me say that I have googled my problem, looked around XDA and could not find a answer that was relevant for the amaze. I saw a few that were for different phones and was confused by how other posters suggested to solve the problem.

If this was already answered and I am a bigger noob than I think I am by missing it, apologies.

So this is what I did:

1. I flashed the stock rom
2. I relocked bootloader
3. I flashed the ICS RUU
4. I tried to unlock bootloader using the XDA all in one tool kit and failed.

I tried going into recovery to flash the nandriod I made but it gives me a screen with a phone and an "!" in a triangle.

My phone is still "relocked" and when I try to unlock it says "Unlock_code.bin not found". I have that already from HTC-Dev from registering my token but I don't know where the fastboot files are.
